Ever wonder how much trouble it is to change from work clothes to booze clothes on the fly? Well GQ Magazine has you covered this summer as they Bring On the Night in Two-Minutes.
The first suggestion is to grab a slim suit.. Plus an assortment of things to add to your party in the desk drawer (looks at picture above).
You don’t have to trade your briefcase for a suitcase.
Make a home in one of your desk drawers for a few key things that make all the difference: a polo shirt, loafers, a tie, and, yeah, some deodorant.
All stuff you can use without a mirror, a sink, or your boss catching you “getting sexy” in the bathroom.
So what are you doing? Go to GQ now and take some notes men.

- Like hot toddies in January and juleps in June, your neckwear collection should fit—not fight—with the weather outside.

Aside from the fact that you’ll arrive half-frozen, there’s a very good reason you won’t be wearing your bright blue linen suit to a mid-winter soiree: It just doesn’t look right.
Regardless—or quite possibly because—of their practical associations, certain fabrics and colors simply don’t seem at home in certain climates.
And seeing as a tie is pretty much defined by the cloth it’s cut from, well… you can see where we’re going with this.
Once you’ve got a few year-round silk options, you need to build out a collection of neckwear that’ll let you embrace the season.

The pink shirt is one of those sartorial lines that many red-blooded American males will never cross.
Pink is a feminine color, they say, unsuited to real men. Wearing it takes guts.
To which I reply: Faint heart never won fair lady. I’ve known many women whose capillaries come to life at the sight of a man in pink.
You need confidence to wear this color, and confidence, as you may have picked up along the way, can be a major turn-on for the XX-chromosome set.

Despite it raining outside today you should remember that summer is right around the corner. Just use your imagination.
Shorts are essentials but not jean shorts. Khaki or linen is the type of material you should be looking for and not those skinny shorts that some companies promote out there (you gotta be kidding me).
Shorts are meant to be breathable and suit to comfort. As for colors you can pretty much pull anything out of the hat.
Doesn’t matter as long as you have a nice shirt, polo, or t-shirt on. Nothing more or nothing less.
Check below to see what colors you should be aiming for the summer. Enjoy!

Now thats summer Fall is here we’re getting into some heavy stuff for the season. If you haven’t noticed any of the action for NYC Fashion Week this year then here’s a note. Tweed is IN! Its been in since last year but now at full force.
A tweed sports jacket is a must have in your collection. Its rugged, tough, and it helps battle the weather in the winter time. Believe me, investing into a jacket like this for the up-and-coming season is golden. You could match this up with suit pants, jeans and cords.
A plaid dress shirt would go well with the jacket as long as it pops then you are straight. As for styling tips for this shoot us some questions and we’ll answer them for you.
So go out there and buy yourself an Tweed Sports Jacket for the season. You’ll thank me later.

So I ran into this today and thought (shit I was just going over that). As an extention towards my Men’s Essentials post I present to you Put This On, a blog about dressing up like a grown up or simply put, know how to dress well. In this video you are about to see, Adam Lisagor goes into the backdrop into denim in general and how it should be worn. This episode is intriguing so don’t be surprised if you are sitting there for a good 5 minutes. With that said enjoy the video.

Denim jeans have been part of American history since Levi Strauss couldn’t afford to buy another pants. Back in 1853 the 24 year old Levi Strauss moved from New York to San Fransisco to start his own dry goods business. When he couldn’t find a pair that would last long enough he took this fabric called “serge de Nimes” and crafted this twill cotton cloth from France and create pants. Today we know that fabric as denim or blue jeans for those old timers.
Everyday men have a struggle to look their very best. In fact some just don’t know how to do it or get confused from the majority. So today I am starting a column called Men’s Essentials. Each week I’m going to list the essentials of each style and express what are the do’s and don’ts for each. Today we are going to start off with T-Shirts, a man’s everyday go-to shirt.
